Why not Ifixit:

1. Prices. Ifixit is insanely overpriced. For example, I can buy a FixHub soldering station for 399, or buy a FNIRSI Soldering Station for 149, which comes with more tips, better heating, good quality and two iron handles suitable for microsoldering

2. Guides. Ifixit has awful repair guides. For example, it's Nintendo Switch Battery Replacement Guide reccomends an awful method of removing the battery. PRYING IT OUT FROM THE TOP. The path of least resistance is detailed in this (much better) guide by sthetix which is the safer and faster method to remove the battery. Also, the ifixit guide does not mention NOT TO USE METAL

3. Part Quality (and price). Ifixit's part quality is awful. One example is their "high capacity" DS batteries. They can be found from a wholesaler which claims a fake capacity. Another CRAZY example is their Iphone 16 pro max screen, which goes for 650. 650!!! I can get a used iphone for that. If you buy from another retailer, like MobileSentrix, you can get it for 149
